20+
Years of experience you can speak to directly
Gary started in the automotive trade as a teenager and trained as a gearbox rebuilder at the Gearbox Factory in Auckland. He has since spent more than 20 years working with transmissions, manual gearboxes and differentials.
Shifting Gears Automotive began as a small side venture and quickly grew into a specialist workshop with dedicated tooling, diagnostics and rebuild equipment.
Gary is still hands-on and involved in every job. That oversight remains central to the workshop standard; if something is not right, it does not go back together.
